It is really auspicious time and the moment of highest grace to our youth of Myanmar that the Holy Father Pope Francis has been visited to them, being offered special Holy Mass and prays for them in St. Mary’s Cathedral. In November 30th, 2017 is the day of joy for the youth of Myanmar and it is also the feast day of St. Andrew the Apostle. There are more than 2000 number of youths represent each dioceses of Myanmar who had been participated in this Holy Mass in the Church and 10,000 plus youths gathered in the Church lawn and bishop house compass. Before starting the Holy Mass, Pa Pa Francis circulated with small automobile car and made wishes and His Apostolic blessings on the youth. Afterwards, the Holy Father Pope Francis processed to the Church then together with Charles Cardinal Bo (Archbishop of Yangon), all the bishops of Myanmar, some of the neighboring countries bishops, Monsignors, youth chaplains and representative priests participated in the Eucharistic celebration. Since it was the feast of St. Andrew the Apostles, Holy Father delivers the homily that the youths are called to listen the voice of Jesus and we all must proclaim our faith boldly like St. Andrew, the Apostles. At the end of his homily, Pa Pa Francis prays that to have many more God’s blessings in our golden country, Myanmar. In Burmese he spoke “Myanmar Pyiko Payashin Konggyi Paypasay”, at that moment the joy comes out from everyone of our heart is inexpressible. Finally, the Eucharistic celebration is over, Pa Pa Francis unexpectedly went to the youth and handshaking one by one; the youth are filled with great bliss and cry out ‘We love you, Pa Pa Francis’. Eventually, the youth and the people of Myanmar feel that we miss those golden memorial days in our hearts, and still recalling this pleasant event in our lives
